There are a range of high quality
interactive online tutorials covering a range of subjects from the Intute
(formerly RDN) Virtual Training Suite. They are mainly aimed at students and
lecturers in FE and HE. It includes the recently revamped Internet Detective
which helps people "to discern
the good, the bad and the ugly for ... online research".

The University of Huddersfield have produced a range of Information Skills materials for use in teaching information literacy. These include Powerpoint slides, worksheets, interactive tutorials produced by librarians at Huddersfield together with some links to materials produced by outside agencies. Try the "ten steps"!
The Open University has an online information skills tutorial called Skills in Accessing, Finding and Reviewing Information.
The University of Huddersfield has a website with useful information for schools and colleges. It includes links to some online information literacy tutorials aimed at young people and information on how to contact us to book a school visit.
The QUICK (QUality Information ChecKlist) website is simple in style and is aimed at children in years 5,6 and 7. It helps teach issues to do with information quality on the internet and includes information for teachers.
